Saxo Properties is part of Saxo Asset Management, Saxo Bank’s legally segregated asset management division launched in 2009 to cater to the upper segment of wealthy investors. Saxo Properties focuses on handpicked Copenhagen real estate, including residential, retail and office rental properties, and offers closed-ended property funds targeted at High Net Worth individuals and institutional investors.

Exclusive properties
With extensive experience in the Danish real estate industry, Saxo Properties is able to secure some of the most promising real estate transactions on the market. In 2010, Saxo Properties purchased one of Copenhagen’s best-known landmarks, the SD Karré apartment building, for investors. Situated beside the Sortedam Lake, this classic residential block is famous for the neon “Irma hen” advertising on its facade.
In 2011, Saxo Properties entered into a joint venture with Resolution Property, the pan-European real estate fund whose investors include some of the major US universities such as Harvard and Yale and which currently has EUR 1.5 billion of assets under management. The joint venture will focus on co-investing in the central business district of Copenhagen, with the emphasis on income growth and capital gains.
Saxo Properties is headed by Jesper Damborg and Claus Klostermann, who, together, have completed Nordic property transactions worth more than EUR 3 billion and have many years of property management experience.
