European Students For Liberty

European Students For Liberty (ESFL) is the first major international development of Students For Liberty. ESFL exists to provide support for students and student groups in Europe that are dedicated to the principles of free markets and a free society, and works to empower the next generation of leaders in the global liberty movement. ESFL supports pro-liberty student groups by providing resources, advising students on effective leadership strategies, and connecting students with both like-minded peers and important leaders and organisations in the pro-liberty movement at conferences throughout Europe. ESFL’s activities help students generate the skills and connections necessary to effectively advance the pro-liberty movement within Europe and abroad.

Aarhus Symposium

Aarhus Symposium is an annual event aimed at connecting students at Aarhus University in Denmark with the business community through constructive debates and dialogues on topics of current interest. Held in the tranquil surroundings of Søauditorierne at Aarhus University, the Symposium each year invites a panel of leading business executives to share their views and experiences on carefully chosen subjects. Through this platform, students are able to learn directly from business professionals and gain insights into the challenges faced by today’s key decision makers. Aarhus Symposium is organised by a non-profit association comprised mainly of students enrolled at Aarhus University. Saxo Bank is pleased to support this unique initiative as a Gold Sponsor.

CBS Case Competition

Founded in 2002, the Copenhagen Business School Case Competition is one of the world’s leading undergraduate case competitions, challenging teams of four students from 12 international universities to solve a real problem from the business world. The mission of the CBS Case Competition is to strengthen internationalisation by enhancing student and faculty networks, both professional and social. Organised solely by undergraduate students, the event is developed in close cooperation with leaders from the Scandinavian business community. Saxo Bank is proud to support the CBS Case Competition as a Preferred Partner

Copenhagen Campus

Saxo Bank is proud to support the Danish think tank, Think Tank Talents, to help establish a campus in the Greater Copenhagen Area for a mix of Danish and foreign students, trainees and young scientists. By providing high-quality and affordable student housing, Copenhagen Campus will foster innovation and integration of Danish and international talent. The project is seen as an important initiative in attracting and retaining the type of highly skilled workers that will help keep Denmark competitive in the future. Saxo Bank has been a partner since 2010 and co-sponsored a Copenhagen Campus pre-study that determined that the campus should be located in the old Carlsberg brewery grounds, next to the young and creative Vesterbro district.

Startupbootcamp

Saxo Bank is a regular sponsor of Startupbootcamp, the European startup accelerator with mentorship-based programmes in Copenhagen, Dublin and Madrid. Startupbootcamp helps young entrepreneurs transform their ideas by providing startup cash and free office space, as well as close interaction with over 75 mentors, all of whom are experienced entrepreneurs and experts in their subjects. Startupbootcamp is located in the heart of each city, and runs at different times in Copenhagen, Dublin and Madrid. Saxo Bank is pleased to support all Startupbootcamp activities in Copenhagen.

Consortium for Global Talent

Discover what expats think about working and living in Denmark
Attracting and retaining global talent is of crucial importance to Denmark. Saxo Bank has joined a number of other large Danish companies and international companies based in Denmark to support the Consortium for Global Talent, an initiative aimed at improving the conditions for skilled foreign professionals. The Consortium works closely with the Danish government, universities, expat networks, labour organisations and foreign chambers of commerce to help make Denmark one of the best places to live, work and study for global professionals and their families.

Innovation Lab - Financial Innovation Network

Since 2003, Innovation Lab has established an international network comprising close to 2,500 connections within worldwide research, product development and entrepreneurship. This network operates as an "antenna association" providing a broad perspective of the scope of emerging technologies, of their potential, and of who has advanced the furthest and with what. Through talks and articles, workshops, seminars and projects, Innovation Lab strives to provide a comprehensive list of the potentials and challenges facing businesses and organisations. Together with Copenhagen Finance IT Region, Innovation Lab has established FIN – Financial Innovation Network. The purpose is to promote digital possibilities within the financial sector as well as sharing knowledge and experiences.

LøkkeFonden

Saxo Banks supports the new initiative, LøkkeFonden, founded and headed by former prime minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen. ​LøkkeFonden is a non-partisan and independent non-profit foundation. LøkkeFonden launches projects helping boys on the edge of society. The goal of the fund is to run and support projects using new methods helping boys on the edge of society take responsibility for their own lives and become active citizens. The fund will develop research in the area to enhance education and make sure that projects are based on well-documented evidence.
