Description:: Eric Rylberg, Chief Executive Director, joined Saxo Bank in August 2008. In a strategic move to strengthen the top management, Mr. Rylberg has assumed the daily tasks of running the organization in the newly established position as CED. He reports directly to Kim Fournais and Lars Seier Christensen. Mr. Rylberg has had a distinguished career as an executive in Danish corporate life. As a former CEO of ISS, a global service company with more than 350,000 employees, he is widely recognized as one of the key players in the growth and successful development of the service company.

Title:: Karsten Poulsen
Chief Executive Director
Description:: Karsten Poulsen, Deputy Chief Executive Director and Interim CFO, joined Saxo Bank in August, 2008. Mr. Poulsen has worked with Mr. Rylberg at ISS as Executive Vice President from 1998 to 2002, Group CFO from 2002 to 2005 and Group CTO from 2005 to 2006. In close collaboration with Mr. Rylberg he played a key role in building and developing ISS. In 2007, he became a member of the Management Board and was appointed CEO of Keops A/S, an international construction and real estate company.

Title:: Kurt K. Larsen
Chairman
Description:: Mr. Larsen is among the most regarded chief executives in Denmark.Kurt K. Larsen serves as Chairman of the Executive Board at DSV (De Sammensluttede Vognmaend A/S) - a global provider of transport and logistics services. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer for a number of years and was also a general member of the Executive board for nearly twenty years prior to becoming Chairman. Apart from his career with DSV, Mr. Larsen holds a number of board chairmanships including the one at DFDS Transport, part of the DSV Group, and Norwegian supplier of transport- and logistics services Tollpost Globe.Kurt Larsen was appointed chairman at Saxo Bank in April 2010.

Title:: Thomas Plenborg
Board member
Description:: Thomas Plenborg, Member, is a Professor at the Department of Accounting and Auditing at the Copenhagen Business School. Following his dissertation in 1996, Mr. Plenborg has held a number of teaching positions and been affiliated to both the Copenhagen Business School and the University of Southern Denmark. Mr. Plenborg holds a number of Board memberships including one at the COWI Foundation. He has attained a number of awards and acknowledgements for his teaching performances and is also a very active writer of scientific literature.

Title:: Claus Nielsen
Head of Markets
Description:: Claus Nielsen, Head of Markets joined Saxo Bank in 2003 from Jyske Bank, where he was Head of Foreign Exchange. He has nearly 20 years experience in Trading FX and Options, and has established track record of building Research and FX Sales Trading departments. Mr. Nielsen is responsible for the daily management of the Copenhagen trading site and the geographic coordination of all Saxo Bank's global trading activities. Further more he will in his role as COO work closely with IT, Operations, Legal, Global Solution and Sales and Marketing.

Title:: Karina Deacon
Chief Financial Officer
Description:: Karina Deacon is Chief Financial Officer at Saxo Bank and a member of the Executive Management Group. She joined the Bank in 2008. Karina started as an auditor with Price Waterhouse (PwC) in 1993 after completing her M.Sc. in Accounting, Tax and Auditing. After four years working for PwC in the Copenhagen and London offices, she joined ISS A/S, the world’s largest Facility Services Company. During her nine years at ISS, Karina held various positions: Group Controller, Head of Investor Relations, Head of Corporate Finance and Control and Head of Corporate Affairs. Leaving ISS in 2006, Karina joined the Nordic property company, Landic Property, as CFO. Subsequently, she joined A. P. Moller-Maersk in a project role working for the Group CFO. As Chief Financial Officer at Saxo Bank, Karina is responsible for Finance, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance, HR and back-office operations.
