World Finance names Saxo Bank for Outstanding Contribution to the FX Industry

Saxo Bank has won the “Outstanding Contribution to the FX Industry” prize at the World Finance Awards 2013 for its unparalleled service to clients. Highly regarded in the industry, the World Finance Foreign Exchange Awards recognise innovation, excellence and best practice across the FX market.

There was a rigorous selection process headed up by the editor of World Finance magazine, Alexander Redcliffe, and a comprehensive set of criteria for voters to consider, including market share, customer service, transparency, innovation, pricing and transaction volume.

Saxo Bank wins two accolades at FX Week’s e-FX Awards 2012

Saxo Bank took home double honours at the ninth annual e-FX Awards, winning for Best Retail Platform and Best FX White Label Liquidity Service. This marked the fifth time Saxo Bank has won the prestigious e-FX award for Best Retail Platform, and the Bank’s first win in the category since 2008. The Bank also won the Best Liquidity Distribution Service e-FX award in 2011. Hosted by FX Week Magazine, the highly-regarded e-FX Awards recognise innovation and excellence across the FX market.

Saxo Bank awarded Best Online Futures and Options Provider at MoneyAM Awards 2012

Saxo Bank was named Best Online Futures and Options Provider at this year’s MoneyAM Awards. Saxo Bank offers more than 130 futures contracts online, and recently added Contract Options on gold, oil and other commodities, currencies, interest rates, bonds and major stock indices.

The MoneyAM Awards are presented annually by MoneyAM, one of the UK’s premier financial websites, and recognise outstanding and innovative service and products from companies within the world of online finance.

Saxo Bank takes two awards at the 2012 World Finance Awards

Saxo Bank, the online trading and investment specialist, has won two awards at the World Finance 2012 Foreign Exchange Awards. Saxo Bank walked away with the Best White Label Solution Provider and Best Mobile Trading Platform awards. The World Finance awards recognise Saxo Bank's ongoing investment in technology and forward-thinking approach which have led to the success of the business and wide acknowledgement in the industry.

Saxo Bank (Dubai) Ltd. Wins Banker Middle East Award

Saxo Bank (Dubai) Ltd, the online trading and investment specialist, won the Banker Middle East’s ‘Best FX platform’ product award at a ceremony held on Tuesday evening at the Emirates Towers. The award recognised Saxo Bank (Dubai) Ltd for offering its customers and investors access to the best trading platform in the region, supported by a range of basic functionalities designed to make trading flexible and straightforward.

The Banker Middle East Product Awards recognise banking products and services that are either exceptionally innovative or have generated excellent financial results and/or transference of market share.

2011

Saxo Bank wins four awards at the Social Forex Awards 2011

The inaugural Social Forex Awards 2011 kicked off by recognising the year’s outstanding industry players, including Saxo Bank which was named ‘Most Social Bank’ for its use of social media tools such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Saxo Bank also took top spot for ‘Best Social Campaign’, ‘Best Social Initiative/Innovation’ and ‘Best Social Research’.

The Social Forex Awards were presented by LetstalkFX and Social-Markets.net in conjunction with e-Forex magazine, and were sponsored by The Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Awards were voted by the members of the letstalkFX.com community.

Saxo Bank awarded Best Active Trading Tools at Shares Awards 2011

Saxo Bank’s tools for active traders were named “Best Active Trading Tools” at the 2011 Shares Awards in London. Capping a year of platform enhancements, Saxo Bank was proud to have been recognised for providing the industry’s leading trading tools.

The annual Shares Awards, voted by the readers of Shares magazine, aim to recognise the most innovative and high quality services and products from companies in the world of retail investment. Launched in 1999, Shares magazine is a leading weekly investment publication for stock market professionals and private investors actively trading and investing in the UK.

Saxo Bank awarded Best Forex Broker and Best White Label Solution Provider

Saxo Bank has been named Best Forex Broker in Northern Europe and Best White Label Solution Provider in the World Finance Foreign Exchange Awards 2011. This accolade acknowledges Saxo Bank's position as an established FX house and its leading role in the foreign exchange market.

The World Finance Awards are chosen by an expert panel. They identify industry leaders, individuals, teams and organisations that represent the benchmark of achievement and best practice in the financial and business world. Saxo Bank scoops up six Euromoney Awards

Saxo Bank, the specialist in trading and investment, has taken top spot in no less than six categories at the Euromoney annual FX survey 2011, the most award wins so far in the Bank’s history. 2010

Saxo Bank named Best Online Platform by Shares Magazine

Saxo Bank’s trading platform WebTrader was named “Best Online Trading Platform 2010” by the readers of Shares Magazine. The Shares Awards recognize excellence in all sectors of the investment, trading and securities industries and have been designed to identify the very best providers across a range of categories including stock broking, derivatives trading, online research, software and fund management.

SaxoTrader named Best Re-Labelling Platform by business magazine Profit & Loss

For the first time, Saxo Bank has received the Profit & Loss award for Best Re-Labelling Platform. Profit & Loss has presented the awards to the best bank and third-party providers in the industry since 2002. More than 10,000 votes were registered during April and May 2010, making it the largest response to date for the awards. The award for Best Re-Labelling Platform accolades both Saxo Bank’s White Label business and the Bank’s trading platform.

Saxo Bank named “Best White Label Solution Provider” in World Finance’s FX Awards

The renowned World Finance magazine recognised Saxo Bank as the Best White Label Solution Provider of 2010. It is the second time that Saxo Bank has received an award from the London-based magazine. This recognition was based on pricing, transaction volume, market share, customer service, scope of global coverage and innovative technologies.

2009

Saxo Bank voted Best Bank for FX for Investors again

For the fourth year running, Saxo Bank won FX Week’s Best Bank for FX for Investors award. Once again, Saxo Bank outperformed its competitors and was voted into the top spot by FX market professionals and readers of the industry’s leading newsletter FX Week. The FX Week Best Banks Awards are a benchmark for performance in the global FX industry and are considered to be the most accurate indicator of who is leading the market.

Saxo Bank picks up five Euromoney awards

Saxo Bank came first in five categories in Euromoney’s FX Poll for 2009, which is voted in by clients. In the Multi-Bank Ratings category Saxo Bank won top prize for its speed of execution, price and volume transparency and its effective and innovative risk-management tools. The Bank also received the first prize for its consistent pricing in FX Options. Finally, Saxo Bank came first in the Single Bank Ratings category for its quality and reliability of repricing.

2008

Saxo Bank Voted Best Bank for FX Investors for Third Year Running

For the third year in a row, Saxo Bank won FX Week’s Best Bank for FX for Investors award. Saxo Bank was again voted into the top spot by FX market professionals and readers of the industry’s flagship publication FX Week. The FX Week Best Banks Awards are based upon surveys of FX market professionals and are considered a benchmark for performance in the global FX industry.

Saxo Bank receives accolade for Best Retail Platform

For the fourth consecutive year, Saxo Bank has been voted the Best Retail Platform at the 5th annual e-FX awards, sponsored by FX Week Magazine. “It’s a great accomplishment and honour for Saxo Bank to win this award for the fourth time,” say Saxo Bank’s co-CEOs Kim Fournais and Lars Seier Christensen in a joint statement. In addition to winning the Best Retail Platform award, Saxo Bank was also shortlisted in the Best Liquidity Outsourcing Service category.

Saxo Bank Institutional FX provider of the year 2008

In June 2008, the coveted World Finance magazine recognised Saxo Bank as the Institutional FX Provider of the Year. This is the first time that Saxo Bank has received an accolade from the London-based magazine. This prestigious recognition comes only a few weeks after Saxo Bank was named the fastest-growing FX bank in 2008 by Euromoney.

Saxo Bank named fastest-growing FX bank

Saxo Bank gained first-time recognition as the fastest-growing FX Bank for the USD 100-250-billion-a-year client segment. The award was presented in London at Euromoney’s annual FX market awards dinner. In addition to the award, Saxo Bank moved up to 23rd place in the overall Global Market Share Ranking. For 30 years Euromoney’s annual FX survey has been widely recognised as the industry benchmark for the FX market, and this year’s poll tallied almost 10,000 votes.

Profit & Loss awards Best Retail Platform Honour to Saxo Bank

For the second consecutive year, the UK’s leading finance magazine, Profit & Loss, named Saxo Bank Best Retail Platform. The recognition emphasises Saxo Bank’s commitment to customer service and the wide array of markets and instruments available on SaxoTrader. The award was presented to Saxo Bank at an event at the Royal Mint Court in London.

Euromoney recognises Saxo Bank as Best Provider of FX services in Denmark

Euromoney named Saxo Bank Best Provider of FX Services for high-net-worth individuals in Denmark. Although Saxo Bank has won several Euromoney awards, this is the first time the bank has been recognised as the Best Provider of FX Services in Denmark. The distinction is based on responses from more than 1,200 private banking professionals and nearly 400 institutions in more than 50 countries.

2007

Saxo Bank voted Best Bank for FX for Investors for second year running

Saxo Bank once again received FX Week’s Best Bank for FX for Investors award. The Copenhagen-based online investment bank was once more voted into the top spot by readers of the industry’s flagship publication, consisting of FX market professionals. The FX Week Best Banks Awards are a benchmark for performance in the global FX industry and are considered to be the most accurate indicator of who is leading the market. The results of FX Week’s Best Banks Awards are based on votes by market professionals and reflect Saxo Bank’s sophistication in serving investors in FX trading.

Saxo Bank awarded Best Retail Platform at 2007 e-FX Awards

For the third year in a row, Saxo Bank took home the Best Retail Platform award at the 4th annual e-FX Awards, sponsored by FX Week Magazine in New York. Winning the top prize in this fiercely competitive category shows that SaxoTrader is the best, most well-rounded offering to consumers in Forex trading. Moreover, Lars Seier Christensen and Kim Fournais, co-founders and co-CEOs of Saxo Bank, were presented with the coveted Achievement Award, which is presented to individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to the success of the e-FX industry.

Multiple wins for Saxo Bank in Euromoney FX Poll

In the 29th annual Euromoney FX Poll, Saxo Bank turned in another strong performance, ranking among the top-25 foreign exchange banks worldwide for the first time in its history. Saxo Bank also picked up four wins in the single-bank platform category, for speed of execution, quality of pricing, post-trade services and options services.

Profit & Loss awards Best Retail Platform honour to Saxo Bank

Saxo Bank was awarded Best Retail platform by Profit & Loss Magazine. The magazine highlighted Saxo Bank’s commitment to customer service and the wide array of markets and instruments available on its signature platform, the SaxoTrader, which gives investors access to over 150+ FX crosses, including many emerging-markets currencies. In commenting on Saxo Bank’s retail offering, Profit & Loss observes, “Ultimately, we see the Saxo model as fulfilling the basic criteria of servicing a predominantly retail client base – its model is built around the longevity of relationship and not how quickly a client loses money”.

2006

Best Retail Platform at 3rd annual e-FX Awards

Best in class: Saxo Bank took home the Best Retail Platform award at the 3rd annual e-FX Awards, sponsored by FX Week Magazine in New York. This is the latest in a string of accolades awarded by the industry’s leading trade publications.

In presenting the top prize, FX Week editor Simon Falush, speaking on behalf of the jury, cited Saxo Bank’s rapid growth from its origins as a regional FX provider to becoming a respected peer of the world’s largest financial institutions.

Saxo Bank clinches top honours in Euromoney FX Poll

Saxo Bank picked up honours in three categories in this year’s Euromoney FX Poll, widely regarded as the industry benchmark for foreign exchange trading. The bank won accolades in three categories, Multi Bank Platform, Single Bank Platform and the Aggregated Awards. In the single-bank platform category, Saxo Bank took top honours in quality of pricing, research and analysis, FX options and prime brokerage, and finished in the top three in speed of execution and post-trade services. In the multi-bank platform category, Saxo Bank took first place in speed of execution, price improvement capacity and research and analysis, and finished in the top three in straight-through processing.

Saxo Bank captures Best Retail Platform e-FX Award in New York

The editors and judges at FX Week bestowed the Best Retail Platform for FX trading award on Saxo Bank at its second annual US congress, FX Week USA 2005. This closely watched and competitive category effectively crowns the winner as the thoroughbred of the industry. The SaxoTrader, a multi-product information, execution and risk management platform, stepped past competing offerings from FXCM, CMC, Gain Capital and many other well-known platforms marking its eighth consecutive blue-ribbon performance since entering the awards field in 2003.

Euromoney FX Poll 2005

With emphasis on e-research and analysis, Saxo Bank was recognised again by users in the Euromoney FX Poll 2005.

Amongst numerous other ratings, the SaxoTrader trading platform ascended from 7th to 5th place as the best performer for research and analysis.

Saxo Bank lifted into Top 10 Best Banks for FX Dealing

Investors in the FX Week Annual Survey voted Saxo Bank into the top 10 of banks for overall FX dealing two years running. The Bank ranked no. 3 in E-Trading for investors and no. 4 in Best Dealing Technology.

Saxo Bank captures FX Week first prize as best bank-to-client liquidity outsourcing service

Saxo Bank captured first prize in the important Best Liquidity Outsourcing Service, bank-to-client category in the first FX Week e-FX Awards. In a competitive field that included the leading FX providers for both institutional and retail business, the Danish investment bank was recognized for being focused on their business strategy to push the white labelling partner market.

2003

FX Week — Saxo Bank in top 3 in Best Bank for e-Trading category

In FX Week’s annual survey of the industry, Saxo Bank was voted third best in the Best Bank in e-Trading category by investors, displacing names like Goldman Sachs, Dresdner and JP Morgan. This designation comes just two weeks after Euromoney Magazine named Saxo Bank “best cross-product platform for private investors”.

Euromoney award for Best Online Trading Platform for private Investors 2003

Saxo Bank earned the award for best online trading platform for private investors at the Euromoney Technology Awards annual dinner in London on 6 November. This achievement comes on top of a stunning series of market gains and business performance metrics recorded by the Danish investment bank. The award underscores the bank’s rapid ascension to a more prominent and recognised position in the global capital markets industry. The star of the award is the firm’s trading platform, the SaxoTrader, a custom engineering information and execution system developed by the bank’s own IT group over the past six years.
