The strategic direction of Saxo Bank has in recent years aimed at broadening and diversifying the bank’s product and service offerings. This goes hand-in-hand with Saxo Bank’s ambition to tailor offerings directly to the needs of clients. Depending on the type of client, demands and requirements differ significantly.
While approaching the defined customer groups separately from a commercial point of view, the key driver in the business structure remains the utilisation of the Bank’s core technological capabilities across all segments. The aim is to service clients through technology and capacity utilisation, while exercising business synergies in full.
The traditional part of Saxo Bank is the Commercial Group that provides products and services to the traders. In 2009, Saxo Bank established the Banking and Online Investment business area which focuses on the development of a new product and service suite designed to cater for the Self-directed Investor. Finally, Saxo Asset Management caters for the top segment of investors which are defined as High-Net-Worth individuals and institutional investors.
